Iron Diglycinate (Ferrochel™) is a form of iron salt with good absorption and bioavailability, where iron is bound to two amino acid glycine molecules. As a result, the iron molecule has a neutral charge and does not interfere with the absorption of other nutrients. Iron diglycinate causes less digestive upset compared to other inorganic iron salts and is therefore more suitable for people with sensitive stomachs (1). Iron contributes to the normal formation of red blood cells and haemoglobin and to the transport of oxygen in the body. Iron also helps reduce fatigue and tiredness. (2)

Vitamin C (L-ascorbic acid) has been added to the capsule for even better absorption of non-heme iron. Vitamin C is a good antioxidant and, like iron, helps reduce fatigue and tiredness (2). We have also added a natural ingredient in our product, which is the herb parsley, grown and dried in Estonia. Sweet peppercorn (Petroselinum crispum) is a biennial herbaceous plant, best known as an herb that grows in the garden. Parsley is rich in vitamins C, K and A, as well as the minerals calcium, iron, magnesium and folate (3).
